Job Description - 6 Years System Administrator with LIMS experience

Role:Clinisys LIMS System Administrator

Client: DC Government

Location : Washington, DC (Onsite)

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Clinisys LIMS and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of laboratory workflows and software development fundamentals. Key responsibilities include collaborating with laboratory staff, IT teams, vendors, and leadership to ensure the system aligns with organizational requirements while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and standards.

This role bridges the gap between laboratory operations and information technology, requiring technical expertise and the ability to translate user needs into practical solutions.

Qualifications & Expertise:

Experience with administering Clinisys LIMS

Experience working in a Helpdesk supporting end-users in an enterprise environment

Experience with troubleshooting software, network and hardware

Experience supporting and maintaining both desktop and web applications

Communication skills, both written and spoken, business-level English mandatory

Strong documentation skills

Job Type: Contract

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent: 4 years (Preferred)

orking in a Forensic or Health Laboratory: 2 years (Preferred)

administer Clinisys LIMS/similar Laboratory Info Mgmt Sys: 6 years (Preferred)

system configuration, management, and troubleshooting.: 6 years (Preferred)

installing and configuring desktop/laptop H/W: 6 years (Preferred)

support OS drivers, peripherals, drive mapping, pgrades: 6 years (Preferred)

roubleshooting Local and Wide Area network connectivity- I: 6 years (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

Washington, DC 20032 (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Compensation: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
