Position Overview

Sandy Mac Evolution LLC is seeking a Security Administrator / Visitor Control professional to support operations at Hanscom AFB, MA. This position provides visitor control, access management, personnel security support, and administrative security functions within a secure government environment. The selected candidate will serve as a key member of the security team, ensuring proper access control procedures are followed while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for visitors, contractors, and government personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify identification and access authorization for all visitors entering secured facilities
  

• Process visitor requests and validate clearances through applicable security databases and systems
  

• Maintain visitor logs, issue visitor badges, and coordinate visitor access with designated sponsors and hosts
  

• Screen visitors and inspect personal belongings to ensure prohibited items are not introduced into secure areas
  

• Assist with facility access control and badge accountability procedures
  

• Receive and distribute packages in accordance with facility security procedures
  

• Monitor personnel access and ensure proper display of authorized credentials
  

• Support emergency response procedures including fire evacuations, bomb threats, active shooter incidents, force protection events, and other security -related emergencies
  

• Maintain accountability of security logs, instructions, badges, and access control equipment
  

• Provide administrative support for personnel security, information security, program security, and entry control operations
  

• Support day -to -day security operations in accordance with government policies and procedures
  

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
  

• 1 -2 years of related security, administrative, visitor control, customer service, military, law enforcement, or access control experience
  

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established security procedures
  

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  

• Ability to work in a professional government environment
  

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  

• Proficiency with standard office software and administrative systems
  

Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting Special Access Programs (SAP)
  

• Experience with visitor control, access management, personnel security, or facility security operations
  

• Familiarity with DISS, JPAS, Scattered Castles, or similar security clearance verification systems
  

• Prior military, government, contractor, or security -related experience
  

Security Clearance Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance required
  

• Must be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access
  

• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP eligibility
  

• Willingness to successfully complete a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph as required
