Academic Advisor

Location: Vandenberg SFB, CA

Position: Full-time

Duties:

• Monitor customer service area and greet clients, manage communication systems, and track client progress.
• Advise active-duty Air Force personnel on voluntary off-duty education programs.
• Review transcripts, evaluate military training, and advise on degree opportunities.
• Provide guidance on submitting transcripts, and applying for educational benefits.
• Maintain student records and provide weekly statistics.
• Assist in organizing education fairs, graduation ceremonies, and other educational events.

Requirements:

• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution (experience cannot substitute).
• Minimum of two years of experience in adult/military education academic advising.
• Knowledge of Air Force education programs and terminology is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
