Job Title: MYEEP Academic Mentor
Position: Casual (19 hours per week); Non-Exempt

Compensation: $20.00-$23.00/hour DOE

JCYC is one of San Francisco’s most successful child and youth development service organizations, annually serving over 7,000 children and youth of all racial and socio-economic backgrounds. The organization provides services which focus on early childhood development, college access, youth development and youth workforce services. POSITION DESCRIPTION
The MYEEP Academic Mentor will be responsible for facilitating workshops for program participants. Mentors are expected to also engage in group tutoring sessions as well as provide high quality one on one academic support for program participants. This is a part-time, average 19 hours a week, (3-4 days) in-person position from September to May. During the Fall semester students will engage in the Academic Mentor Program as well as job readiness training while they attend school. During the Spring semester, the academic mentor will provide individual or small-group tutorial support and personalized academic Workshops. The Academic Mentor reports directly to the Academic Mentor Program Coordinator and works closely with their MYEEP coordinator and their CIT.
