Academy - Head Wrestling Coach

Lipscomb Academy is seeking a passionate and motivated Head Wrestling Coach to build, launch, and lead our high school team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can establish team culture and grow a competitive program from the ground up, consistent with the mission of Lipscomb Academy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Launch and build Lipscomb Academy's wrestling program, including equipment and facility setup


• Plan and conduct daily practices focused on technique, conditioning, and safety


• Develop athletes of all experience levels, with an emphasis on fundamentals


• Manage team logistics including rosters, schedules, and state association requirements


• Supervise athletes at practices, home meets, and away tournaments


• Communicate regularly with parents, the Athletic Director, and school administration


• Ensure compliance with all state athletic association rules and safety guidelines


• Model Christ-like behavior and encourage student wrestlers to demonstrate integrity, respect, humility, service, and sportsmanship in alignment with Lipscomb Academy’s mission.
