Action Property Management seeks a full-time Access Control Lead for our property in Sacramento.

The Access Control Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the access control system and managing a team of Access Control Officers. This role ensures the safety and security of the property and its residents by implementing and maintaining effective access control procedures.

• Team Management:
• Hire, train, and supervise a team of Access Control Officers.
• Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and address any issues.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

• Monitor and maintain the property's access control system, including hardware, software, and databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the access control system.
• Implement and enforce access control policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of access control systems to ensure compliance.

• Develop and implement comprehensive security protocols to protect the property and its residents.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and other security agencies as needed.

• Prepare and submit regular reports on access control activities, incidents, and trends.
• Analyze data to identify potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

• Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors.
• Handle inquiries and complaints related to access control professionally and promptly.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in security management or a related field. Supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in access control systems and security technologies.
• General computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and the ability to learn and operate the property management software utilized by Action Property Management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license.

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
