Job Description - Access Control Receptionist (TS/SCI Clearance)

This position is part of a bid process associated with a Statement of Work. Candidates are encouraged to submit their information and resumes highlighting their relevant experience.

Access Control Receptionist
Location: Hanover, MD
Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI

Position Overview:

Join a collaborative and mission-driven team where your contributions directly support the Army’s readiness and modernization goals.

The Access Control Receptionist monitors facility access points, manages visitor control processes, and ensures adherence to security procedures for personnel entering classified spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Enforce facility access policies and screen individuals entering secure areas.
Validate government-issued credentials and maintain electronic access logs.
Issue visitor badges and escort non-cleared personnel as required.
Monitor surveillance systems and coordinate with security personnel during incidents.
Assist in coordination of VIP or high-visibility visits.
Support facility emergency response protocols and drills.

Qualifications:

High school diploma required; additional security training preferred.
3–5 years of experience in DoD/federal access control operations.
Strong interpersonal, situational awareness, and de-escalation skills.
Proficient with visitor management systems and CCTV tools.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
