Description:
oMust follow all laboratory procedures and policies
oAssist with administrative functions of :
•Maintaining clinical records and logs
•Maintaining an organized documents management system for ready access and retrieval of current and archived records and forms.
•Maintaining clinical laboratory supplies
•Other administrative duties as assigned
oIdentify administrative problems that may adversely affect test reports and consult with a Supervisor for corrective actions
oPerform and document all corrective actions as assigned
oAssist in quality control/improvement activities
oComplete and document (type of training, person performing the training, and the time spent on training) all mandatory trainings, including annual safety training
Willingness to work in the lab 60% of the time lab (i.e. bodily fluid – currently Urine and nasal swabs.. they will be working with the documentation that comes with the samples and need to be OK being and working around the samples)
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 20% differential pay for weekend work
Degree is not required but would be helpful
Ability to keep up with the workload and fast/high volume of it all.
Need candidates with experience for these roles. We want them to know how to do the work/understand why it is done, etc. and to only need to learn the way we do the work.
