JOB SUMMARY:
To provide leadership in the areas of housekeeping, laundry and service tech, quality, and Inventory control.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads teams and assists the Manager and Assistant Manager in organizing shift work in servicing and cleaning of all assigned guest rooms, buildings, and all work areas.
Inspects guest rooms, buildings, meeting spaces and other areas as assigned.
Reports any repairs, concerns, and facility needs to Manager and Assistant Manager and/or proper department and place work order to get work accomplished.
Stocks trailers, storage rooms and all other areas as assigned as well as inventory control and replenishment.
Assist in the organization and cleaning of the warehouse and assist in pest control of cabins and meeting spaces
Assist team in setting up guest rooms, meeting rooms, buildings, and other areas as required (inside or outside).
Assist team in setting up and moving furniture as requested.
Assists with seasonal changeover.
Completes daily vehicle inspections, and keeps vehicles and equipment clean
Assists in developing and training hourly staff in areas of cleaning, chemical use, equipment, PPE and safety procedures, meeting space set up and other training required.
Participate in team leader training on an ongoing basis.
Work closely and provide all feedback, inspection, tasks and workload assignments to the Manager and Assistant Manager on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Stays aware of OSHA Safety Standards and assists in organizing training in accordance with safety standards.
Works closely with the Laundry Lead, Housekeeping Leads, Service Technicians, and other housekeeping staff to accomplish all work tasks and assignments.
Supports and participates in staff spiritual life activities.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Housekeeping experience required.
Supervisor or lead experience preferred.
