Job Description - Account Coordinator

Summary: The Account Coordinator is responsible for the efficient operation of client account maintenance and ongoing lead management, supporting a team of account managers while executing various tasks during the entire sales cycle.






Description: We are seeking a highly organized, results-driven administrator to join our team as an Account Coordinator. The Account Coordinator plays an integral role in supporting a highly functioning team of account managers while managing numerous tasks at varying stages of the sales cycle. Successful candidates will be able to think analytically, plan and execute routine tasks, respond to unexpected issues and technical requirements, and work effectively with the National Account Manager, Account Specialists and the Senior Vice President.


Industry: This position is part of our residential division, which provides communication solutions in both print and digital formats to condominiums, cooperatives and homeowner associations throughout the United States and Canada.


Responsibilities: The Account Coordinator is responsible for the efficient operation of client account maintenance and ongoing lead management through interactions with customers and prospects as well as ensuring standards are met across the division. This individual will be working closely with the account management team to maintain productivity and improve internal processes. Other key responsibilities include:



  • Managing incoming client communication and assigning them to appropriate team members

  • Reporting performance metrics for the entire region to the National Account Manager and Senior Vice President

  • Organizing conference calls with clients and prospect clients

  • Coordinating team travel arrangements, logistics and marketing campaigns

  • Promoting our company reputation and values through personal appearance, communication skills, resourcefulness and integrity while understanding and upholding the policies, professional standards and values of our company and the industries it serves

  • Other projects as assigned


Experience: Candidates must have at least 1-3 years of professional experience in system administration and client-relationship management.


Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred. Equivalent work experience, with excellent references, will also be considered.


Personal Attributes: Candidates must be skilled communicators with a competitive nature and drive for success. Other relevant attributes include:

  • Honest and trustworthy

  • Self-starter; capable of working independently

  • Creative thinker


Technical Skills: Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft-based operating systems, Internet tools, telephone systems and software, and other common tools. Other technical skills include:



  • Microsoft Word

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Microsoft Outlook

  • Working knowledge of database systems
