WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?


We are seeking an Account Development Representative (Boston, US) to join our commercial team and help us meet the demands of our growing customer base. As an Account Developer, you will be responsible for following up on our inbound leads and generate new leads by outbounding via different channels. You will closely collaborate with the marketing team to maximize our outbounding efforts and represent Optics11life at events and conferences. This position offers significant growth potential, potentially leading towards becoming a Sales Specialist.



KEY ACTIVITIES:


  • Collaborate with the commercial team on lead-generation activities;
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and webinar contacts/targets;
  • Engage with the customer base as more experience develops;
  • Arranging any equipment shipping requirements.


SKILLS & COMPETENCIES


  • Has an advanced degree in Life Science or Biomedical sciences;
  • Minimum of 1-2 years working experience in a commercial position or a laboratory environment is a plus;
  • Has excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Is interested in marketing and promotion to the life science industry;
  • Has a desire to work in a rapidly evolving scale-up environment;
  • Is willing to "roll up your sleeves" and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success;
  • A combination of scientific and commercial attributes;
  • Experience with CRM software is a plus.

You live in the Boston area and are willing to be in the office 3 days/week.
