Job Description - Account Director

The Account Director is a member of the Account Services team that helps drive channel program outcomes within assigned accounts Channel Fusion helps global brands deliver channel marketing programs on behalf of their channel partner networks. The Account Services team delivers client centric channel marketing and technology solutions focused on scale, growth, and outcomes.   


 


Responsibilities:
 



  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients regarding Channel Fusion’s channel marketing solutions, services, and digital platform capabilities.  



  • Build trusted relationships through engagements focused on driving clients’ desired business outcomes.  



  • Lead, inspire and develop account team members in the delivery of clients’ channel marketing programs and platforms. 



  • Oversight of assigned client portfolio, including the development of growth and retention strategies. 



  • Lead business reviews based on a standardized approach that including
    program performance reviews, strategy, insights, future trends and recommendations for growth.  The Account Director provides leadership on strategy, insights, and recommendations for growth. 
     



  • Demonstrate expertise in channel marketing and Channel Fusion capabilities.  



  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients with the intent of elevating relationships and growing footprint across a client’s organization.  



  • Collaborate cross functionally with Channel Fusion new business, marketing, product, and customer operations/service teams to deliver outstanding results.  



  • Understand clients’ strategies and corporate priorities, as well as the competitive landscape, to proactively identify and capture opportunities or address risks at strategic and tactical levels.  



  • Achieve strategic client objectives defined by Channel Fusion management.  



  • Complete strategic client account plans that meet company standards.  



  • Monitor program and platform delivery to ensur successful implementations.   



 


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
 



  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, or communications.  



  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in a corporate marketing or agency environment, or marketing technology company, as an account manager or similar role.  



  • Demonstrated ability to leverage and utilize Artificial Intelligence in day-to-day activities. 



  • Ability to manage multiple, complex client programs at the same time. 

  • Serve as  role model in a team atmosphere by promoting and reinforcing a client-centric and collaborative culture.  

  • Ability to “command the room” when leading client conversations.Strong data analysis skills.  



  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to take initiative.  



  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.  



  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.  



  • Advanced Microsoft Officer user: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  



  • Proficiency in the use of tools, such as Asana and Azure Dev Ops.  



  • Effective communication skills.  



  • Accountability & dependability.  



  • Adaptability & flexibility.  



  • A strong attention to detail.  



  • Follow-through & persistence.  



  • A healthy mix of creative and analysis skills.
