We’re partnering with a building materials supplier supporting contractors, remodelers, and design professionals to hire a high-performing Account Director to build, manage, and expand strategic partnerships across a defined territory. This is a quota-carrying, full-cycle sales role responsible for self-generating leads and closing new business. This is not a role for order takers; it is designed for disciplined hunters with proven industry experience.

In this role, you will identify, engage, and grow relationships with contractors, renovators, builders, and design consultants, positioning the company as their preferred supplier for doors, with additional cross-sell opportunities in related product categories. You will own relationships from first contact through long-term account growth while driving consistent, repeatable revenue in your region.

Location Requirement

Candidates must reside in North Metro Atlanta or North Georgia, including the following areas:
• Fulton County (North): Alpharetta, Roswell, Johns Creek, Milton, Sandy Springs
• Cherokee County: Canton, Woodstock, Holly Springs, Waleska
• Forsyth County: Cumming
• North Georgia / Surrounding Areas: Pickens County (Ellijay) and nearby areas within Pickens and Gilmer counties

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively hunt for net-new partners within your assigned territory and build a sustainable pipeline
• Execute consistent outbound activity, including calls, emails, follow-ups, and structured outreach cadences
• Lead discovery conversations with intelligent, consultative questions to uncover project needs and buying drivers
• Confidently handle objections related to pricing, lead times, specifications, and competitive alternatives
• Close and expand accounts through repeat business, upsells, cross-selling, and long-term relationship management
• Own the full sales cycle from first contact through close and ongoing account development
• Maintain a clean, accurate, and up-to-date pipeline in Monday.com with disciplined follow-up
• Collaborate closely with warehouse, operations, and support teams to ensure accurate fulfillment and high partner satisfaction
• Develop deep product, specification, and application knowledge through hands-on learning and field exposure
• Participate in occasional face-to-face meetings to strengthen key partner relationships and drive account expansion

Performance Expectations & KPIs

• Monthly net-new partner acquisition targets within the assigned territory
• Daily and weekly outbound activity standards (calls, touches, follow-ups)
• Monthly and quarterly revenue targets tied to account activation and growth
• Pipeline coverage, opportunity progression, and close-rate expectations
• Ongoing account engagement to retain, expand, and deepen partner relationships

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience specifically in doors, building materials, or closely related construction products
• Proven success in a quota-carrying, outbound, full-cycle sales or account management role
• Experience selling to contractors, builders, remodelers, or design professionals
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, manage objections, and close new business consistently

Skills & Competencies

• Competitive, proactive, and results-driven mindset
• Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
• Ability to manage multiple active opportunities with urgency and accountability
• Calm, confident objection handling, particularly around pricing, lead times, and specifications
• Strong CRM discipline with consistent follow-through
• Clear desire for income growth tied directly to performance
