Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for attracting, engaging, developing, and retaining customers within the LTL shipping industry. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Pricing to drive business growth while delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a portfolio of customers in the LTL shipping space
     
  • Design and implement strategic sales plans to meet business goals
     
  • Identify and convert new customer opportunities into long-term partnerships
     
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create proposals and onboarding plans
     
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality
     
  • Leverage market knowledge to prioritize selling into backhaul lanes

Requirements

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in LTL transportation sales, with a strong focus on new business development
     
  • Background in regional LTL services
     
  • Strong consultative sales and relationship management skills
     
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
     
  • Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving abilities
     
  • Understanding of LTL market dynamics within the assigned region
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
     

Compensation

  • Annual salary range: $80,000 – $105,000, based on experience and location
     

Work Environment

  • Hybrid position with travel required within the designated territory
     
  • Involves prolonged periods of computer use and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs
     
  • Requires ability to travel to customer sites via motor vehicle
