Job Description - Account Executive

Overview 

As a representation of a newly established company that started in the heart of North Carolina and is now situated in the Triangle Region, the position of Account Executive requires you to handle the entire sales process from generating leads to closing sales; reaching or exceeding sales quotas; also attend special training of services to understand the technical aspects of our tutoring solutions. You will track client activities, prepare and maintain records for sales leads and account statuses; solicits and maintains contact with current and prospective key personal and business accounts; sell services to established customers or prospective clients. You must be able to interact with others, be open -minded, motivated, detailed -oriented and maintain accurate records and write brief reports. The Account Executive will work to achieve revenue and long -term account goals that align with company goals, while maintaining a positive relationship with clients. Account Executives shall proclaim the existence of the company, must adopt the company mission. The newly formed company is seeking new hires who are inspired to take this venture to a whole other level.

  • Mon -Fri 9am -5pm flexibility


Mandatory Requirements

  • Must be able to work in the United States


Education

  • A minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent;
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, communications, public relations, or related field is preferred.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 1 year minimum sales experience in service -based businesses or retail industries or equivalent experience. 
  • 1 year related experience as a sales associate, sales manager, or related role.
  • Superior computer skills; proficient in cloud -based software such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, Apple iWorks etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Have a profound understanding of major social media platforms.
  • Able to multi -task while efficiently managing priorities.


Core Responsibilities 

  • Work directly with clients to learn their goals and establish how the company can meet them
  • Find prospects and leads; close sales; formulate sales strategies
  • Regularly meet quotas, goals and other forms of client expectations
  • Help clients understand the limits of their budget or resources
  • Consistently meet project deadlines
  • Identify new sales opportunities
  • Build strong client relationships and support existing clients; communicate product value to clients
  • Identify opportunities to up -sell and cross -sell
  • Provide customer support when needed
  • Learn new product and services features and benefits
  • Provide professional after -sales support
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer success and satisfaction


Job Location

  • Remote or hybrid within the United States


Compensation

  • Commission -based with a comprehensive performance -based tiered program and monthly bonus potential.
