Job Description Summary:
At PayPal, we are on a mission to revolutionize commerce, and we're currently seeking an Account Executive to join our UK Enterprise Sales Team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing growth and retention strategies, as well as cross-selling and upselling new PayPal solutions to some of our largest existing clients.

As part of a dynamic team of 7 Account Executives, your core mission and main challenge will be to understand our customers' business needs and match them with the right solutions toretain existing business whilst also proactively driving new sales and growth opportunities.
Your Way to Impact

To be successful and make an impact as an Account Executive in Enterprise Sales, you will have the opportunity to build strong partnerships and collaborate with the Customer Success Management team and various stakeholders across PayPal. This role requires a proven track record of successful executive engagement in complex solution selling environmentsand your capacity to bring in the right resources to close sales are key. Ultimately, you will play a crucial role in increasing PayPal's relevance with some of the influential companies in the world.
Your day-to-day
Develop and implement strategies to maintain and strengthen relationships with PayPal's largest merchant partners.

Build relationships and increase credibility to effectively convey the value of PayPal's solutions and vision to C-level executives.

Drive revenue growth by identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities, implementing best practices, and co-developing solutions aligned with customer needs.

Negotiate favourable terms and agreements to create sustainable value for all parties.

Work as part of a larger team to manage the overall strategic health of our merchants.

Foster collaboration with global internal stakeholders such as technology and product specialists, finance, sales and integration engineers, legal, risk, sales operations, marketing and other teams to achieve goals.

Enhance results through effective pipeline management, navigating internal and external product roadmaps, and influencing resource allocation.

What you need to succeed
A strong grasp of cutting edge technology solutions spanning mobile, e-commerce, point of sale, processing, and other interfaces to design impactful consumer experiences that drive business results for global merchants.

A growth mindset combined with the ability to drive change and foster continuous improvement.

A knack for advocating for the customer by leveraging insights from learnings and competitor analysis to inform product enhancements, new solutions, and go-to-market strategies.
