Worksite Location: Phoenix, AZ

Account Executive :

The Account Executive acts as an agent of broker-assigned accounts, including servicing and/or solicitation activities. This position will manage the book of business and direct the work of a service team.

What you’ll do as the Account Executive:

Receive and develop new business leads from producers or identify and develop cross-selling opportunities
Responsible for renewal business and soliciting additional lines of coverage
Complete applications, obtain quotes, negotiate premiums and commissions, and prepare proposals and presentations
Bind coverage, prepare binders, and delegate certificates
Review coverage, identify deficiencies, and determine the appropriate level of coverage
Meet with clients as needed or directed by the producer
Review accounting history, respond to accounting inquiries, correct discrepancies, and contact clients on receivable collections
Serve as technical expert, assisting department members to resolve complex issues
Complete the collection of fees, reconciliation, and resolution of any outstanding balances within 90 days of the invoicing date
Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enter and maintain complete and accurate information)

What you’ll bring to the Account Executive role:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
8+ years of related work experience
Valid insurance license
Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good problem-solving and time-management skills
Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
Good planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
