Job Summary

Tektronix is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Account Manager to join our team. This candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, driving business growth, and fostering long-term relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the Electronic Test and Measurement or related industries and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, understanding of their business and organization, and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth within assigned accounts.
  • Strategic Planning: Create and implement account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and providing expert advice on Tektronix products and services.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for Tektronix.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional support and solutions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, sales activities, and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. 
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of technical account management experience in the Electronic Test and Measurement industry or a related/adjacent field.
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability of achieving/exceeding sales targets and business goals with a defined sales process.
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal, written, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Capable of building rapport and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electronics in Test and Measurement and related industries’ applications.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive and innovative thinker with the ability to address complex challenges.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.

Pay Range
The salary range for this sales position (inclusive of sales incentives/commissions in local currency) is 161,100.00 - 299,100.00
