Job Objective: Manage strategic customer accounts, act as a liaison between key customers, production and planning to manage orders, schedules and delivery changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficient with spreadsheets – updating and tracking spreadsheets for customers and for the sales department to provide weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly updates
  • Attention to detail - verifying the accuracy of orders and quotes, general data entry
  • Communicating with customers through various channels; email, portal, phone
  • Understanding order process and parts for providing production status, coordinating special instructions, and managing customer requests
  • Ability to perform professionally in situations when customers become upset because of late orders or the inability to get an order when they need it
  • Respond quickly and accurately to inquiries and follow up, as needed
  • Interact professionally with co-workers and management
  • Learn and provide backup for Order Entry

Relationships and Roles:

  • Maintains positive relationships with various departments.
  • Maintains superior customer service.

Requirements

  Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience
  • Experience with MRP, ERP, and customer service requirements
  • Analytical skills, Problem solving, conflict resolution
  • Computer skills, manufacturing software, MS Office
  • Verbal and Written Communication
  • Attention to Detail
  • Sense of urgency
