Position Overview

The Account Manager will provide key insights within product categories across our private label account for Walmart and identify opportunities to increase sales. The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the VP of sales by ensuring all processes are being followed and deadlines being met for the assigned category.

Responsibilities

• Liaison between production and logistics teams to determine location status and arrival timing of goods in transit to Delta warehouse
• Weekly sales reporting of current business performance, both stores and ecomm
• Through analysis, identify opportunities to chase into upside or avoid excess inventory for assigned category
• Quickly fulfill ad hoc requests from the customer
• Work closely with the VP of Planning to ensure all opportunities and liabilities are addressed
• Compile style/color/size-level selling data for use in merchandising and inventory planning exercises
• Identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy, establish action plans, and maintain high in stocks
• Partner with other functional areas such as the Warehouse and Information Technology teams on processes, systems, and reporting as required
• Ensure all Walmart deadlines are being met for assigned category throughout the product life cycle
• Work with Walmart buyers and planners to ensure orders are dropped in Walmart system and PO's received & Send reorder checklist with SKU details
• Monitor inventory levels and review for re-orders for basic items
• Order pivot accuracy / ensure goods pointing to correct warehouse; monitor on time shipping and incoming WIP ETA's; partner with warehouse teams on PO status & communicate to Walmart

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Minimum of 3+ years previous experience in merchandise planning or account management
• Walmart experience preferred
• Retail Math proficiency a must
• Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
• Team player and problem solver in a demanding deadline driven environment
• Motivated, proactive, and highly organized
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to reach supported conclusions and make robust recommendations
• This a hybrid role, with 4 days in our Secaucus, NJ office 

PAY RATE: $80,000/yr-$110,000/yr
