Job Description - Account Manager

What You’ll Do
Build & Grow Your Business

Own your book: Prospect, pitch, and close new shipper accounts to scale your portfolio.
Drive daily sales activity: Make high-volume outbound calls to engage leads and convert opportunities.
Deliver smart logistics solutions: Understand customer needs and provide tailored freight strategies.

Execute with Excellence

Manage the full shipment lifecycle from quoting to delivery and follow-up.
Strengthen carrier partnerships: Negotiate, coordinate, and build relationships that ensure reliable capacity.
Handle RFPs & credit requests to keep deals moving smoothly.
Collaborate across teams to ensure world-class service and operational success.

Leverage Best-In-Class Tools

Use modern sales and logistics technology—including TAI TMS—to streamline workflow, track activity, and maximize productivity.

What We’re Looking For

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organization and time management
A competitive, self-driven mindset with a passion for prospecting
Confident negotiation skills and strategic thinking
Ability to adapt quickly to market changes and industry trends

Bonus Points For:

Experience using TAI TMS
Inside sales or transportation/logistics sales experience
