The Account Manager is the “feet on the ground” for our Creative and Graphic Services divisions and serves as an advocate for our client’s brands. The Account Manager must have the ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment, be detailed oriented and a self-starter with a proven track record and experience managing packaging artwork. The ability to work under high-pressure deadlines while being brand stewards to design and the client’s needs is a must Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Initiatives manager for consumer packaging graphics projects
- Possesses a strong understanding of OBF processes, strategic objectives, and service offerings, with the ability to identify, engage, and apply the right resources to drive operational efficiency
- Responsible for the gathering of information and materials needed to kick off a project or start a piece of art, as well as for routing, tracking and execution of projects
- Responsible for all written communication within the order entry system
- Serves as brand steward ensuring the brand equity is maintained throughout all pieces of art
- Partner and establish strong relationships with cross functional teams (OBF, Client & Printers), including creative services, marketing, legal and regulatory, that provide information related to the projects executed by OBF
- Manages end-to-end execution of consumer packaging graphics projects, ensuring on-time and on-brand delivery
- Review the appropriate checklist(s) to ensure all pieces or materials are validated prior to project kick off
- Own confirmation of print feasibility for designs
- Coordinates planning, development and documentation to ensure timely deliverables, job/project success and quality
- Proactively identifies potential project challenges and communicates effective solutions to mitigate risks & notify of potential timing impacts further upstream
- Champion the communication from OBF as it relates to color development of master images, color standards and brand intent
- Champions standardization and optimization across packaging workflows, continuously identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Takes ownership of individual tasks with dedication, while readily stepping in to assist colleagues and foster team success
- Ability to maintain a broad perspective, effectively managing and containing issues as they arise to minimize impact and ensure project continuity

- Proficient use of the Apple operating system including knowledge of business software such as Office, FileMaker Pro and Acrobat

Education & Work Experience:
- Basic knowledge of color separation, management and printing processes required (i.e. flexographic, rotogravure, offset, digital)
- Experience in print production, pre-press and printing processes
- Basic proficiency in color management, inks and packaging substrates
- Minimum 5 years graphic design, prepress or printing work experience ideal
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Demonstrated experience in client engagement, managing daily communication and fostering strong client relationships.
