Account Manager - Analytics / Territory Sales Manager, Life Sciences Instrumentation

My client is hiring a sales professional to own a Mid-Atlantic/Southeast territory, including Research Triangle Park, selling life sciences instrumentation into complex, multi-decision-maker accounts.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and execute a sales strategy for your territory, reporting to the VP of Sales Analytics
• Demonstrate the technology at customer sites to build and close your pipeline
• Find, nurture, and close new business across the territory
• Represent the company at scientific conferences and customer meetings
• Partner with marketing on local lead generation

About you

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related life science field
• Application-specific knowledge of biologics and gene therapy markets is a plus
• Comfortable with up to 30% overnight travel
• Experience selling to government agencies is a plus
