Job Description - Account Manager and B2B Sales Representative
Flotilla Partners and FilterPure is currently seeking a motivated Outside Account Manager / B2B Sales Representative to join our growing team. This position is responsible for developing and managing relationships with commercial clients, property managers, contractors, and business owners to provide water treatment and related service solutions.
We are looking for someone who is self-driven, professional, and comfortable building long-term business relationships in the field. The ideal candidate enjoys prospecting, networking, and managing accounts while identifying opportunities to grow business partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Prospect and develop new business-to-business relationships within assigned territories
Identify opportunities with property managers, commercial facilities, contractors, and business owners
Conduct site visits and evaluate water treatment needs for commercial clients
Present solutions, pricing, and service options to decision makers
Account Management
Maintain and grow relationships with existing commercial clients
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
Follow up with customers regarding installations, service needs, and system performance
Generate referrals and additional business through satisfied partners
Territory & Lead Management
Manage daily appointments, prospecting, and networking activities
Track sales activity, follow-ups, and customer information within CRM software
Work with internal service and installation teams to coordinate projects
Maintain consistent communication with management regarding pipeline and opportunities
Professional Standards
Represent the company professionally in all client interactions
Meet or exceed sales goals and performance benchmarks
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and account activity
Stay informed on company products, services, and industry trends
Qualifications
Preferred but not required:
B2B sales experience
Outside sales or territory management experience
Experience working with contractors, property managers, or commercial accounts
Water treatment, plumbing, irrigation, or facility services industry experience
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Familiarity with CRM or sales management software
