Luminary Group, in collaboration with a world-leading Biotech, is seeking an Account Manager who will report directly to the Sales Manager. As a Systems Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in strategically managing commercial accounts and promoting cutting-edge scientific analysis solutions to various markets including pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, food, environmental, chemical, and academic research sectors. Operating within a collaborative and supportive environment, you will actively engage with colleagues to foster innovation and share best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute action plans to expand and renew product portfolios.
- Tailor strategies for each account to drive sales growth.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting.
- Cultivate relationships with existing customers through various engagement channels.
- Conduct technical and commercial presentations, offering expert advice to clients.
- Prepare and negotiate sales proposals and respond to tenders.
- Monitor market trends and competition, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Provide regular activity reports and maintain CRM database.
- Collaborate with internal teams for seamless customer service and support.
- Utilize company resources for training and documentation.
- Travel to customer sites and attend team meetings as required.
- Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Physics preferred; PhD advantageous.
- Previous sales experience or customer-facing role in relevant industries.
- Knowledge of LC and MS instrument technologies desirable.
- Strong networking and presentation skills.
- Commercial acumen with persuasive abilities.
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time, including overnight stays.
