Job Description - Account Manager- Logistics Brokerage

Account Manager Description:

TCI Global Logistics is searching for a talented Account Manager for our brokerage team that is responsible
for managing the daily operations of customer accounts.

The Account Manager will report directly to the Director of
Account Development. Account Managers are required to have great communication
skills, an energetic personality, and a strong work ethic. The ability to
comprehend complex situations and foresee what needs to be accomplished to
achieve success is essential to this position. It is essential for this role to
have self-starter mentality, that can provide ownership and accountability
towards the performance of their assigned accounts.

Primary Responsibilities:













  • Manage assigned customer accounts and expand transportation services by providing customer service and finding ways to solve customer shipping needs.

  • Build shipments and complete order entry on manual and EDI shipments.

  • Schedule appointments for successful pick-up and delivery of each shipment.

  • Maximize revenue/gross profit opportunities with each customer assigned.

  • Maximize load volume with each customer assigned.

  • Maintain continual contact (weekly) with all customers assigned.

  • Maintain accurate contact list of key stakeholders in all accounts.

  • Coordinate rating on a spot basis or work with the pricing and sales team when applicable.

  • Manage the relationship between the customer and the company.

  • Build strong relationships with customers by staying in constant communication to ensure day-to-day and long-term needs are met.

  • Demonstrates industry knowledge and ability that can be applied in new or complex situations.

  • Leverage organizational skills to manage multiple customers.

  • Manage customer expectations and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Collaboratively work with other departments to properly manage customer needs.

  • Maintain account integrity and work with Credit to successfully resolve any payment issues on accounts.

  • Ensure accurate rating of all shipments for billing.

Compensation:

$52,000 annually + Monthly Incentive
