Position Overview: The Account Manager is responsible for developing and managing relationships with clients and maintaining a portfolio of business relationships. The Account Manager will also build relationships with new and existing customers and manage the client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including responding to inquiries, addressing client concerns, and providing updates on policy information.
Sell property & casualty insurance and other products to new and existing clients, including multi-family insurance, residential liability insurance, and captive insurance.
Develop and implement strategies to build relationships with customers and grow the customer base.
Conduct periodic portfolio reviews to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
Provide accurate and timely quotes and policy information.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance.
Monitor customer accounts and negotiate the renewal of insurance policies.
Build relationships with underwriters, brokers, and other vendors to facilitate business activities.
Prepare reports and presentations related to customer accounts and sales activities.
Qualifications:
Property & Casualty License.
5 years of account management experience in the insurance industry.
Strong interpersonal sales and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and ability to multitask.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Team player and ability to work collaboratively.
