Job Description
We are dedicated to improving the lives of patients with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH), a rare disease. We are currently preparing for the launch of an important new product and are seeking two Account Managers to join our cross-functional team, one based in London and the other in the North East. This hybrid role will involve both promotional and non-promotional activities, focused on driving clinical belief, system readiness, and diagnosis and treatment rates.
Responsibilities
Partner with key accounts and the wider health economy to ensure suitable patients gain appropriate treatment options.
Take responsibility for a defined number of Centres of Excellence (CoE's) and shared care centres, understanding the ecosystem and needs of these accounts and customers.
Drive customer activities and be accountable for the Pulmonary Hypertension portfolio.
Provide insights to the commercial team and contribute to marketing strategy development.
Allocate approximately 80% of time to customer activities and 20% to self-development and compliance.

Data Driven Decision Making and Planning: Ability to gather, use, and analyse datasets to make informed decisions and drive performance.
Patient Journey Experience: Understanding of stakeholders, patient journeys, and the ecosystem to identify opportunities and provide solutions for patients.
Interaction Excellence: Strong scientific communication skills, value demonstration, channel mastery, and relationship building.
Knowledge of Healthcare Systems: Thorough understanding of local healthcare and reimbursement systems to inform strategic planning.
Project Management and Organisational Skills: Ability to manage initiatives and deliver on agreed outcomes and timelines.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with MHRA/ABPI requirements, particularly around field activities.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage and influence key external stakeholders in a matrix cross-functional team structure.
Problem Solving and Communication: Strong problem-solving, teamwork, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills.
Rare Disease Expertise: Understanding of the challenges and approach needed in the rare disease space.
