Account Manager, Small Business

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Manage client accounts, identifying coverage gaps and recommending solutions

• Process new/renewal business, proposals, quotes, and policy accuracy in both applied epic and carrier websites

• Handle service requests (certificates, endorsements, audits, cancellations) promptly

• Deliver exceptional client service with a fast, professional response

• Handle first report of claims by gathering information from client and reporting to the agency’s dedicated claim team, while following up to confirm a successful resolution of the claim

  Experience and Skills:   

• Property & Casualty license and 2+ years of commercial insurance service experience- focus on small business accounts preferred

• Strong knowledge of insurance products, markets, and underwriting

• Excellent communication, organization, and client service skills

• Professional designations (CIC, CPCU, CRM, CISR, ARM) preferred

• Strong work ethic and critical thinking

• Applied Epic experience preferred but not a deal breaker
