Account Supervisor (Client Strategist)
Location: Overland Park, KS (Hybrid – 3 days in-office)
Compensation: $80,000 – $110,000 depending on experience
About AGENCYOF
AGENCYOF is a strategy-led, performance-driven agency working across hospitality, animal health, outdoor equipment, construction, technology, and mission-driven brands. We are 11 people. We move fast. We operate lean. And we care deeply about the quality of the work and the strength of our client relationships.
We are not a layered organization with multiple levels of insulation. You will work directly with leadership. You will influence decisions. You will see how an agency actually runs. If you need hierarchy to feel valued, this won’t be the right place. If you want ownership, visibility, and impact… you’ll find it here!
The Role
The Account Supervisor (Client Strategist) is a relationship leader and commercial driver inside the agency. You will oversee approximately clients with annual engagements ranging from $150,000 to $600,000. Our work is primarily project-based and time-and-materials, often evolving into multi-year partnerships. You are responsible for:
- Building durable, trust-based client relationships
- Translating business objectives into strategic direction
- Protecting the integrity of the work
- Expanding opportunities where value exists
- Holding both client and internal teams to a high standard
You will not have direct reports. You will, however, have influence. And that influence matters.
What You’ll Do
Lead Client Relationships
- Serve as the primary day-to-day strategic contact for assigned clients
- Build real relationships — not just email threads
- Pick up the phone
- Meet clients in person
- Create conversations that move business forward
- Respectfully challenge clients when necessary
Drive Strategic Thinking
- Get into the trenches to understand what makes each client unique
- Identify their unfair advantage and help articulate it
- Push beyond surface-level execution into real positioning
- Filter, translate, and frame client feedback so the work improves — not erodes
Own Commercial Clarity
- Understand scopes, timelines, and financial parameters
- Identify opportunities to expand work where value is clear
- Contribute to proposals and pitch conversations
- Help grow existing relationships thoughtfully and strategically
Bridge Client & Internal Teams
- Hold tension honestly and productively
- Advocate for strong creative and strategic thinking
- Ensure internal teams are set up for success
- Prevent misalignment before it becomes expensive
Operate With Initiative
- Anticipate needs instead of waiting for direction
- See around corners
- Identify risks early
- Move conversations forward
