Job Title: Accountant
Job Type: 6-Month Contract
Location: Broken Arrow, OK
Pay: $30/hour+
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (hours may vary based on business needs)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant for a 6-month contract role in Broken Arrow. This position is responsible for applying accounting principles to analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive financial reports. The ideal candidate has at least two years of accounting experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

· Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries and document business transactions

· Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss reports

· Examine accounting records and documents for accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures

· Develop, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting controls and procedures

· Create working papers, schedules, and reports to support findings and recommendations

· Perform various ad-hoc financial reports and assist with special projects as assigned

· Maintain professionalism when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders

· Foster a collaborative team environment through communication and shared goals

· Ensure confidentiality and security of all business, financial, and proprietary data

· Demonstrate consistent attendance and work performance in a safety-conscious manner

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and 10-key

· Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

Physical Requirements:

· Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs

· Specific vision abilities include peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment

· Moderate noise level work environment
