Accountant

Description

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining daily accounting operations and financial records for all subsidiaries and affiliated entities. Your role will include coordinating with team members to compile support documentation for completing entries, reviewing expense reports for compliance, and regularly communicating with management.  

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitor and reconcile daily bank activity across all entities
• Process daily payment requests adhering to approval procedures
• Maintain daily cash position report
• Prepare and post journal entries for all subsidiaries while ensuring proper support
• Review and approve weekly subsidiary expense reporting in accordance with internal procedures 
• Coordinate customer invoicing and maintain aged accounts receivable report
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist in resolving discrepancies
• Support quarter-end and year-end closing processes across all entities

Requirements

• Bachelor's accounting degree from an accredited institution
• 3-5+ years of relevant accounting or record keeping experience
• Experience with multi-entry accounting and intercompany transactions.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (ex: NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
