Are you ready to make a significant impact at a growing law firm? Altman Nussbaum is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our in-house team. You’ll play a critical role in managing IOLTA accounts, preparing tax returns, and keeping our books accurate and up to date.

This is a 100% on-site position — we believe the best work happens together!

What You'll Do:

• 
  

  Manage and reconcile IOLTA accounts in compliance with applicable regulations

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare corporate, personal, and multi-entity tax returns

  
  


• 
  

  Handle bookkeeping on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all accounting functions

  
  


• 
  

  Partner with leadership to support reporting, budgeting, and forecasting needs

  
  

What You Need:

• 
  

  Proven experience in accounting, ideally within a legal or professional services environment

  
  


• 
  

  Strong expertise in IOLTA account management, tax preparation, and bookkeeping

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency with QuickBooks and related accounting tools

  
  


• 
  

  Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively

  
  


• 
  

  CPA or equivalent certification preferred but not required
