Mayflower is a technology company that alters the entertainment industry to a new level of perception and engagement.

Now we look for an Accountant to join our Accounting team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries;

  • Perform Accounts Reconciliations (Customers, Vendors, Bank, eWallets, Payment Processors) for a large volume of data;

  • Create and manage invoices, monitor outstanding payments, and follow up on overdue accounts;

  • Preparation and analysis of monthly management reports (income statements and balance sheets);   

  • Preparation and submission of VAT (OSS, VIES) and other VAT declarations;

  • Coordinate with auditors for year-end audits, providing necessary documentation;

  • Keeping proper books of account and financial records in the Accounting Software.

Job requirements

You will thrive here if you have…

  • Bachelor’s in accounting and finance, Economics or another related field

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or partly qualified will be considered an advantage

  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant work experience in Accounting/Audit is essential

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially excel) and experience working with big data reconciliations

  • Experience with payment processors and transaction reconciliation will be considered an advantage

  • Knowledge of VAT will be considered an advantage

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central 365 software will be considered an advantage;

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Proficient in Greek and English (Written & Spoken)

Recruitment process

  • HR interview (30 min);

  • Technical interview (1 hour);

  • Test task;

  • Final interview (45 min).
