We're a growing multi-location car wash operator serving Utah communities, and our accounting team is the reporting backbone leadership relies on for smart site-level and company-wide decisions. As we scale, we're looking for someone ready to grow right alongside us.

As our next Accountant, you'll own core month-end close activities, supervise AP and AR functions, and partner directly with our operations teams to keep accounting inputs across all sites accurate and timely. You'll also help design and improve the analytic tools and reporting we use to make better decisions.

We're an AI-forward accounting team — this role actively leverages tools like Claude and Claude Code to automate recurring workflows, speed up reconciliations, and sharpen reporting and analysis. We expect our next Accountant to embrace that toolkit as part of daily work.

What You'll Do:

• Support monthly close, including journal entries and account reconciliations across multiple locations.
• Supervise AP and AR functions — coding, approvals, billing, tracking, and issue resolution.
• Serve as a key checkpoint for bi-weekly payroll, reviewing for accuracy before processing; work closely with HR on this task.
• Oversee accounting inputs from operations teams and coordinate corrections as needed.
• Support internal financial reporting and maintain well-organized documentation.
• Assist during audit engagements by preparing schedules and requested support.
• Design and implement analytic spreadsheets and reporting to improve visibility and accuracy.
• Leverage AI tools (Claude, Claude Code, and similar) to automate recurring accounting workflows, accelerate reconciliations, and expand analytical output.
• Partner with the Financial Analyst team on cross-functional reporting and process improvements.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience (staff accountant, general ledger, month-end close, AP/AR).
• Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Excel and general familiarity with accounting/ERP systems.
• Detail-Oriented & Organized: Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfort working with — or genuine willingness to learn — AI tools to enhance productivity.
• Strong Communication: Effective written and verbal communication across finance and operations teams.

Bonus Points If You:

• Have experience supporting multi-location or multi-entity operations.
• Have hands-on experience with tools such as Claude, Claude Code, Snowflake, or comparable modern data/AI platforms.
• Have prior experience with automated reporting, dashboards, or process automation projects.
• Come from a retail, hospitality, service industry, or multi-site operations background.

Position Details:

• Full-Time, Exempt
• In-Office Position: Based at our St. George Support office, with occasional on-site work.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds; specific vision abilities required, including close vision.
