Job Summary/Basic Functions:


As a member of the USA finance team, the Accountant will report to the Assistant Controller and could work with various parts of the Company, including sales and operations.  This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a leading manufacturing company's financial health and growth while gaining valuable experience in accounting. A successful candidate is a motivated finance professional passionate about financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting.


 


Specific Duties / Essential Functions:



  • Maintain daily banking entries for multiple accounts and currencies

  • Prepare standard journal entries for fixed assets, prepaid assets/expense, accrued expenses, intercompany expenses and payroll

  • Prepare cost allocations for IT, manufacturing shop utilization, royalties and admin fees

  • Perform the monthly vendor maintenance internal control

  • Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations

  • Assist the finance team in monitoring KPIs for cash collection, billing targets, margins, on-time-delivery, labor effectivity and operational variances

  • Participate in internal review discussions about financial risks and opportunities

  • Contribute to the 2026 Budget Planning Process, including sales, margins, variable and overhead costs, cash, capital expenditures and headcount

  • Assist with audits

  • Sales tax filings, running reports for sales by state

  • Assist with various functions within Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments, i.e. draft/update SOPs

  • Ad-hoc projects and analysis as required



Preferred Qualifications/Education/Experience:



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field

  • Be able to build effective & productive working relationships across business units and within the finance team

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Integrity, team player, and an appetite to learn

  • Resourceful, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Be organized, results-driven and deadline-oriented

  • Self-motivated and proactive for managing workload and professional development
