Your Day-to-Day Impact
- Record and reconcile: Accurately record patient revenue, process bi-weekly payroll, and post weekly A/P invoices through platforms like Bill.com, while reconciling bank accounts and managing sub-ledgers.
- Collaborate across departments: Serve as a key Finance resource for our grant administration and Development teams, preparing monthly grant releases, invoicing for clinical and educational programs, and reconciling donation revenue.
- Drive month-end close: Prepare monthly journal entries, maintain balance sheet reconciliations, and assist the Director of Accounting in ensuring all general ledger data is posted timely and accurately.
- Deliver financial insights: Prepare internal reports for department heads to support budgeting and forecasting, recommend strategies to reduce costs, and assist with external reporting for audits and the Title X program.
What You Need to Suceed
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
- Required: Experience in non-profit and/or healthcare accounting, plus strong knowledge of grant accounting and temporarily restricted net assets.
- Advanced computer skills, ideally with experience using financial accounting software (MIP and Sage Intacct preferred).
