Accountant

Our client is seeking an Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations for a growing organization. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with financial reporting, supporting month-end activities, and ensuring the integrity of accounting data. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting functions, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, intercompany transactions, and overhead allocations
• Assist with the preparation and consolidation of monthly financial statements
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, including cost analysis and budget variance reporting
• Support treasury reporting and cash management activities
• Maintain accurate financial data within the ERP/accounting system
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies, reconciling items, and reporting issues
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for annual audits and tax filings
• Partner with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and process improvements
• Participate in special projects and perform other accounting duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and GAAP
• Experience with ERP/accounting software; QuickBooks experience is a plus
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
