Accountant

Job Summary

The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization. The role includes invoicing, payment verification, billing, petty cash management, inventory entries, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should possess strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.


• Verify payments and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.


• Manage billing activities and maintain customer billing records.


• Record and reconcile petty cash transactions.


• Enter and maintain inventory records in the accounting system.


• Assist in maintaining books of accounts and financial documentation.


• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial records.


• Support month-end and year-end accounting activities.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree running (currently pursuing) or completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.


• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, billing, invoicing, or related finance functions.


• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.


• Experience with invoicing, billing, and payment verification processes.


• Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.


• Good communication and organizational skills.
