This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join a dynamic team in the Engineering industry. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is ready to take on challenges in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, examining, and analyzing financial reports and records, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures, and providing financial advice to the company. This is a permanent full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the preparation and planning of budgets.
2. Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
3. Manage and coordinate all financial transactions and ensure legal requirements compliance.
4. Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments.
5. Analyze financial trends and forecast future financial stability.
6. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
7. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and submissions of tax returns.
8. Implement and maintain systems for cost-savings and efficiency improvements.
9. Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
10. Develop reports for top management, regulatory agencies, and tax officials.
11. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the senior management team.
12. Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems using QuickBooks.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field, preferably in the Engineering industry.
3. Proficient in accounting software, specifically QuickBooks.
4. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
7. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
8. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
9. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
11. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
12. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
