Job Description - Accountant I

Description

The Accountant I is responsible for general accounting functions including accounts payable coordination through maintaining accounts payable ledgers, vendors, and accounts; preparing journal entries as needed; as well as assisting with monthly closings and account analysis as requested.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Technical accounting skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant accounting software
