Who we are looking for:

GAP, Co. is seeking a part-time Accounting and Finance contractor, who can support and successfully manage accounting activities of the organization. The candidate will play an integral part in dealing with many day to day tasks as related to the finance and accounting department. Estimated weekly time commitment is around 30 hours.

Responsibilities:

• Financial closing and performance reporting on a monthly basis
  • Journal entry input and documentation organization
  • Utilizing ERP software
  • Providing requested documents to and from Korea HQ
• Processing major expense funds and disbursements (excluding payroll) on a monthly basis
• Supporting external audit on an annual basis
• Supporting tax adjustments and responding to requests from external accounting firms on an annual basis
• Assisting in establishing financial processes when needed
• Disclosing, preparing and responding to requests from HQ

Qualifications:

• Education or training equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or other related fields
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Familiar with Accounting principles and system (ERP SAP, QuickBooks is a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Especially Excel and Word
• Detail oriented
• Ability to handle sensitive company financial information in discreet manner
• High level of efficiency and responsibility
• Bilingual in Korean and English
