Senior Accountant

MUST:
3+ years of experience as an Accountant
Expert level experience with Excel
Preparing budgets
Experience preparing monthly journal entries to record accounting transactions
Experience reconciling balance sheet accounts
Preparing budgets
Payroll experience
Experience handling external audits
Profit and Loss experience
Ad Hoc Analysis
Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting

DUTIES :
Record transactions
Prepare monthly journal entries
Research and analyze P rofit and Loss budget to actual variances and analyze trends
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting
Oversee client invoicing and collection s
Generate invoices
M onitor and collect payments
P rocess and record transactions
R esearch and resolv e account discrepancies
Handle reconciliations of invoices
Reconcile daily labor reporting and timesheet capture and handle resolution of discrepancies
Provide support with external audit s and create schedules and reports as required
Perform ad hoc analysis and handle required projects
Assist with payroll
I nterpret financial results and address inquiries and issues as they come up
