This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in fintech or financial services, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records, including Cash Book, Bank Book, and Party Ledger.
Generate and review daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in preparing Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Statement, and Cash Flow Statement on a monthly basis.
Verify and process payroll components (salary, overtime, bonuses, allowances) for accuracy.
Reconcile bank statements and manage daily cash disbursements.
Review vouchers, expenditures, and bills to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
Prepare and make bank deposits, and reconcile transportation or vendor bills.
Ensure proper TDS & VDS deductions in all payments as per Bangladesh regulations.
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Communicate daily with PalmPay’s global finance team to ensure accurate reporting.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, local tax laws, and company policies.
Perform any other finance-related tasks assigned by management.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, BBA, or Commerce.
Partly qualified CA.CC(Chartered Accountancy)will be given preference.
3–5 years of experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in fintech, banking, MFS, or audit firms.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems) and advanced MS Excel.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
Good team player with effective communication skills in Bangla and English.
