Fives Group is looking for an Accountant to join our team in the Bowling Green, OH area.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Prepares journal entries and adjustments.
- Assists in the preparation of financial statements for all entities.
- Reconciles bank statements.
- Assists in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory statements.
- Assists in monthly closing procedures.
- Prepares accounting reports and may analyze accounting records to determine causes of results shown
- Documents and updates accounting procedures.
- Performs various business analytics
- Complete tax returns and census as needed
- Handles highly proprietary information in a confidential manner at all times.
- Assists with various clerical duties as necessary (A/P, A/R, etc.).
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Master's Degree or CPA is preferred but not required
- 5 years experience in accounting
- Experience working for a manufacturing or industrial related company
- Knowledge and experience in Excel
- Sharp Communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of attention to detail
- Work in Team Environment
