Accountant/Bookkeeper

Emerald Zebra is seeking an experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join a well-established provider of corporate services in Nicosia, Cyprus.

The company:
A trusted corporate service provider with over 25 years in the Cyprus market, offering a comprehensive range of services, including secretarial & company administration, banking, bookkeeping, accounting, and VAT solutions for both local and international businesses.

Your role:

You will be assigned a portfolio of clients and will be responsible for ensuring their accounting matters are consistently up to date. You will also liaise and coordinate with the company's auditors to ensure smooth and accurate reporting.

Requirements:

• At least 4 to 5 years of experience in similar position.
• Broad knowledge and experience in the recording of company transactions in accordance with the current accounting standards.
• Strong knowledge of the VAT & VIES regulation.
• Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering regulations (due diligence & KYC procedures).
• Experience with Sage accounting software will be an advantage.
• Fluent in Greek and English (written and oral).
• Computer literate / Knowledge of MS Office .

Information:

• Salary range, depending on experience: 23K to 27K annually (13 salaries)
• Location: Nicosia, Cyprus (fully onsite)
• Working hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday to Thursday (30 Min lunch break) and 8:00AM to 2:00PM on Fridays
