Accounting & Control Officer

For one of our clients we're looking for an Accounting & Control Officer. As an Accounting & Control Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial administration and strengthening the organization’s internal control environment.

In this position, you will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and various operational departments to support the organization through reliable reporting, financial analysis, and control processes that contribute to efficiency, compliance, and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities include managing and monitoring the general ledger, including bank, cash, accounts payable, and accounts receivable administration, as well as performing month -end, quarter -end, and year -end closings. The role is also responsible for preparing financial reports, analyzing variances and performance, conducting reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. Additional responsibilities include supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, maintaining and improving internal controls and financial procedures, assisting with internal and external audits, and identifying financial risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
