Summary of Position:
The Accounting Manager will handle all aspects of the accounting department, including but not limited to staffing and onboarding all new accounting employees, month-end billing, all administrative duties concerning the accounting team and department, and any other duties assigned by the department head.
Job Duties / Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
1. Staffing
· Provide an overview of all duties, roles, and responsibilities for all accounting employees
· Onboard all new employees, conduct new hire paperwork and orientation, and create the training schedule for new hires
· Assist with the hiring of accounting staff
· Work on training guides and manual; for accounting and finance learning management
2. Billing and Collections
· Assist teams with month-end billing
· Meet with colleagues to ensure billing is posted in SAB
· Send billing to all clients
· Follow up on payments and collections.
3. Project Management
· Assisting the Finance and Accounting department with additional Projects associated with the department
Required Knowledge /Skills / Abilities:
· General accounting knowledge and billing procedures
· Knowledge of onboarding procedures (I-9 new hire paperwork and orientations)
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
· Accounting and or office management skills
· Vendor Management
· Knowledge of the ERP Acumatica is a plus
· Cash flow accounting
