Accounting assistant

Position Overview

Seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Assistant with experience in SAP/ERP systems, bookkeeping, and exposure to banking, treasury, tax, and sales/customer accounting functions. This role supports the accounting department with daily financial tasks and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting operations and financial recordkeeping
• Perform bookkeeping tasks including AP/AR, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Work within SAP or other ERP systems for data entry and reporting
• Support banking and treasury activities, including transaction tracking
• Assist with tax‑related documentation and compliance tasks
• Provide support to sales and customer accounting functions
• Prepare reports, maintain files, and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Collaborate with supervisors and cross‑functional teams
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience with SAP or ERP systems
• Strong bookkeeping background
• Exposure to banking, treasury, tax, and sales/customer accounting
• Prior supervisor support experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Excel and general office software
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
