Position Summary:

Under minimal supervision, performs Accounts Payable duties and other Accounting functions as directed by the Accounting Manager in order to maintain financial data for the accounting records of the hospital.  Compiles, sorts, verifies, and posts documents detailing financial transactions.  Computes and records data utilizing vendor invoices and account statements, check requests, vouchers, and other records in several accounting processes.  Performs all functions with speed and accuracy using computers and software systems.

Qualifications:

Prefer high school graduate or equivalent.  Prefer at least 2 years of college courses with emphasis in Accounting or Business Administration.  Prefer Accounts Payable experience or other Accounting/Bookkeeping experience desirable.  Requires ability to operate 10-key by touch.
